On December 10, 2019, Dimash gave a solo concert in New York, USA.
On June 10th, the footage of Arnau NY was uploaded on Dimash's YouTube channel.
There were a large number of people working so hard "to make Dimash shine on the stage”.
The performer on the stage.
The staffs who support it from in the behind scene.
And the audience.
The power of all those people is united in the success of one concert.
Dimash's first solo concert in the United States was a huge success.
The concert would not have been such a success without the presences of these people who supported Dimash, as well as a great talent of Dimash.
And the other hand, there were the presence of the local NY Dears, who desperately supported Dimash first solo concert locally.
One of the NY Dears is N who is Official Dimash Japan fan club (DJFC) member.
This time, we asked N to look back on that time.

"I'm a Dears living in NY.
On September 2019, we, Dimash Eastern US Dears(DKIFC) started planning Dears activities for Dimash's first NY performance at Igor Krutoy's 65th birthday concert that was scheduled in October.
In the meantime, I got in touch with the promoter of the NY Arnau concert, and I decided to help promoting Dimash's NY solo concert as a NY local Dear.
(It was Dimash's first solo concert in the United States, but since it was a concert sponsored by the Kazakh government as part of Kazakhstan's Independence Day, there was no plan to publicize it as a private concert. So the promoter asked help from local Dears in NY.)
So, I immediately formed a team with Queens Dears, which consisted of three local Dears in NY, and we first planned to do a flash mob with Dears coming to Igor Krutoy's Birthday Concert in October before the solo concert. (At that time, while Igor Krutoy's birthday concerts around the world were being announced one after another and since Dimash's NY concert schedule was not set, many Dears canceled NY in October. I made up my mind and announced the flash mob without knowing how many people would get together.)
Initially, the promoter made Arnau NY T-shirts for our flash mob with the hopes that at 100 Dears would participate in the event.
But on the day of the event, we got more than 150 dears gathering in front of Barclay’s Center and siniging a big chorus of “Screaming”.
The flash mob concluded with Dears singing a birthday song to Igor.
At Igor's concert after flash mob, I finally experienced Dimash's live performance for the first time, and I was moved to tears.
After the concert ended, we handed out 1000 flyers that the promoter made to those who came to Igor's concert with the help of the flashmob participants.
That was a kick-off for our Dimash NY Solo concert PR activities.
At this point we called out to more local NY Dears to create the NY Solo Concert PR Team.
And each of us were looking for the places which would allowed us to place the PR concert posters and flyers such as cafes and shops in downtown NY day and night under the cold weather of NY, sometimes by ourselves or in groups at their own free time.
One big achievement was the time when we got submitted of our flyer placement request by the Vocal Performing Arts section of the NY Performing Arts Library in the Lincoln Center ( Lincoln Center is surrounded by famous NY Art schools and theaters of performing arts).
It was thrilling to see the decrease in the piles of flyers each time we successfully handed them out.
When I started local PR, I realized the fact that Dimash's NY solo concert was not known by New Yorkers.. ..
I was recognized that Dimash was still not known by people much in the United States yet, so I wasn’t surprise that simply New Yorkers don’t know Dimash, but the Russian community, the Chinese community, and even the Kazakh community did not know that Dimash was having a concert in NY.
These people thank to us when we handed over the flyers. .. .. I was delighted that we could see the good cause of our local PR.
Eventually, 4000 flyers, including 1000 Chinese flyers, were distributed by the day Dimash stepped back into JFK Airport.
On the day of Dimash welcoming at JFK Airport, we participated as a Welcome team led by Dimash USA, and organized based on the lessons learned from the confusion at Dimash’s first JFK visit to the United States (for Igor's birthday concert) in October.
One of the NY Dears asked for support from NY Port Authority police, even I even utilized my son also as flowers and a gift helper, and we were having a meeting with Dimash's bodyguard who was already waiting at JFK.
With all our effort(I believe), we were able to welcome Dimash safely while being caught in a whirlpool of enthusiasm in that narrow JFK arrival area. I'm sure it was a welcome of a big star that JFK airport would never have had before.
By the way, on the day of our seeing off Dimash at JFK, we could not organize at all due to the regulation of airport security guards, and our warnings to them were ignored, and as an expected result, we said good bye to Dimash with an embarrassing mess. .. ..
After Dimash left, one of the guards approached me and said, “Now I understand what you were saying," and promised to work with us next time.
By the way, as we all know, Dimash's long-cherished dream, Arnau, the first solo concert in the United States, ended with a great success.
When the concert was decided, we were somehow worried that Dimash who is not well known in NY will really can fill Barclays Center in full with audiences.
Despite our worries, I heard that the venue was filled with spectators and most of them were locals.
It's hard to predict how much we've helped, but the satisfaction we've achieved is immeasurable.
At the concert, there was a strong sense of unity between Dimash and the audiences from the opening to the ending, and Dimash was exploding with his joy from beginning to end, his feelings for the NY concert full of joy and expectations.
I believed that it was an another Unforgettable Concert for Dimash and Dears.
Until everything was done, we NY Dears ran through with all our might.
There were tough days, too , but it was a great memories for us to be involved in this wonderful concert that will be remembered in our hearts over and over again.
Also, during this period, I visited the Kazakh Consulate in NY several times to exchanges various information with a warm relationship.
At a later date, we were invited by the consul, who thanked us for support of their country and Dimash and saying, "Let's continue our cultural exchange and friendship.”
Thank you for all your works to the NY Dears for supporting Dimash.
And finally, we thank you so much as a Dear.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude as the same Dears.
And thank you to DJFC member N. Our official Dimash Japan fan club will be welcoming Dimash's solo concert in Japan someday, and we are looking forward to the day when we can provide such support in Japan.
